The XXIV Olympic Winter Games, the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, opened on Friday, February 4, 2022, and ended on Sunday, February 20. The Beijing Winter Olympics consist of 7 major events, 15 sub-events and 109 sub-events. Beijing competition area undertakes all ice sports; Yanqing competition area undertakes snowmobile, sled and alpine skiing events; Chongli area of Zhangjiakou competition area undertakes all snow sports except snowmobiles, sledding and alpine skiing.
On September 17, 2021, the Beijing Winter Olympics and Winter Paralympics released the theme slogan – “Together to the Future”. On October 18, the Beijing Winter Olympics were successfully lit in Greece. On October 20, Tinder for the Beijing Winter Olympics arrived in Beijing. On October 31, 2021, it was reported that the recruitment of volunteers for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and Winter Paralympics was basically completed, and the training of volunteers for the Games was in full swing. On November 15th, the new MV of the 2022 Winter Olympics and Winter Paralympics themed slogan promotion song “Together to the Future” was officially launched on all platforms. On November 16, 2021, “Together to the Future – Beijing Winter Olympics Promotion Conference” was held at the Chinese Cultural Center in Paris, France. More than 100 people including cultural, artistic and sports figures from China and France, and representatives of overseas Chinese attended the event. ; On the morning of December 3, the State Council Information Office held a press conference, and all preparations have been completed.
On February 2, 2022, the launching ceremony of the Beijing Winter Olympics Torch Relay was held. It will officially open on February 4, 2022.
